The name Nipkow comes directly from the mechanical device that propelled the development of television in 1900. As most of the content I showcase on my channel has to be consumed through that medium, I've decided to use it as my emblem. The idea was to leave a digital footprint about everything that crosses my mind regarding my favorite hobbies.

DESIGN SYSTEM
Due to the highly visual nature of the entire scope I cover, I've chosen to work with 2 highly contrasting colors and a distinctive typography that can create a strong identity. Pixel art is also a significant part of the identity because it's one of the key themes within indie and retro games.

OPENING
INSPIRATION
The main sources of inspiration for creating the opening were the cutscenes from Nintendo's Ninja Gaiden and the intro of Street Of Rage 2 from Mega Drive, much like the crafted illustrations.
Special Item
The beer represents that unique or unattainable element you can reach after overcoming various obstacles. That's why the goal within the channel is to relax, connect, and enjoy after a hard day. Something very akin to overcoming challenges and obtaining stars in Mario.
Music
I collaborated with my dear friend @manwe_7 for a development that primarily blended an eighties synth sound with ambient music.
